The concept

The Lean OpEx consulting team consists exclusively of lean management experts who have spent many years in responsible line functions in operations and have long-standing experience with lean management, kaizen and Six Sigma. This is how we ensure a high level of consulting quality and speed of implementation.

Together with our network partners, we develop a tailored concept that fits your company – from analysis through to operational implementation.

The philosophy

Our holistic perspective corresponds to the Toyota Production System. To achieve the greatest possible effect for your company, we can carry out a system kaizen. Very often, however, several coordinated point kaizens in operations are sufficient to achieve the desired improvement sustainably.

  1. Level 1

    System kaizen

    • Orientation towards the overall system
    • Understanding cause-and-effect relationships
  2. Level 2

    Flow kaizen

    • Focus on processes
    • Identifying areas for action from the value stream
  3. Level 3

    Point kaizen

    • Changing individual work sequences
    • Improving workplace ergonomics
    • Changing behaviour

Our approach

Creating value without waste: our implementation-oriented approach ensures sustainability by involving employees early and strongly in the change process.

Together with your employees we develop the concepts and measures and, where required, implement them jointly with you. By combining top-down and bottom-up approaches we achieve implementation-oriented solutions and best-practice approaches at all levels together with our clients.

In this way we secure a high level of acceptance for new processes and structures and create the necessary foundation and lasting awareness for value creation free of waste. What matters is that affected employees become involved actors and, with our methodological know-how, develop into internal lean experts.

How we proceed

Consistent, disciplined, persistent. Processes and structures on the one hand, people on the other – we develop both levels in parallel so that improvements last.

    • Develop the implementation concept
  3. Phase 3

    Implementation

    • Actions
    • Optimise
    • Try out
    • Best-practice transfer
    • Sustainability check
Phase 4
